The skiers stride and slide,
sometimes 80 feet high
they fly.
Skaters swirl and twirl,
sometimes 15 feet high
they fly.
Then, down to earth they come
welcomed by cheers and cries,
among us once again.
And while they flew
we soared, too.
Able to breathe once more.
